On November 14, the AHA will publish the 2024 American Heart Association and American Red Cross Guidelines for First Aid, also in Circulation. These guidelines represent the first comprehensive review of first aid science and treatment recommendations since 2010.

All AHA Instructors must complete their required science update by February 1, 2021.
