The group specialty options listed above should also include Brain Aneurysm - that's how most of our participants identify themselves - as brain aneurysm survivors.  I have been facilitating our group since 2007 for brain aneurysm patients - whether ruptured, unruptured, newly diagnosed, longstanding, treated by clipping, coiling, or flow diversion. We initially started it for survivors of a rupture but we soon learned from participants that the common denominator is the brain aneurysm, not having had an associated hemorrhage. As a facilitator I was, indeed, skeptical when individuals with unruptured aneurysms began coming to group, but the mix continues to work beautifully.
