Work with a health care professional on a plan that works for you. Take action today:

  • Know Your Numbers: Track your cholesterol, blood pressure and diabetes numbers to help determine your overall risk for heart attack and stroke. For most people, healthy levels are:
    • Total Cholesterol:  150 mg/dL or lower
    • Blood Pressure: Less than 120/80 mm Hg
    • Blood Sugar (Glucose): Less than 100 mg/dL
  • Nurture Your Health & Well-being
    • Choose nourishing food, emphasizing fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds, lean protein and fish.
    • Stay active and aim to get at least 150 minutes of moderate, or 75 minutes of vigorous activity, or a combination of those, each week.
    • Manage stress to manage your health.
    • Eliminate tobacco products.
    • Maintain a healthy weight.
