Just Launched! Basics of Telestroke Course with CE

The AHA Center for Telehealth has launched a Basics of Telestroke course that explores the impact of telestroke in healthcare, delves into the advantages of telemedicine in stroke management, and offers insights and best practices in telestroke care. This premium eLearning course consists of the following six modules, which are available as a full course package:

  • Introduction to Telestroke
  • Clearing the Hurdles of Telestroke
  • Implementation Strategies
  • Assessment of the Telestroke Patient
  • Telestroke for Prehospital Providers
  • Quality Measures & Reporting

Up to 3.0 hours of Continuing Education (CE) credit are available from this course. Each module offers up to 0.5 hours of CE credit. Each module can also be purchased individually. Advanced practice providers, ER physicians, neurologists, stroke coordinators, nurses and physician assistants are among the groups who can benefit from the course.
