We’ve raised $3.9 billion since 1949 to fight heart disease and stroke. As a fundraiser, you’ll fuel our groundbreaking research, education and community programs making a huge impact on heart health, through business development, donor cultivation, relationship management and short and long-term strategic planning.


As the largest voluntary health organization in the United States, we know that connecting the right volunteers to the right opportunities makes all the difference. Here, you’ll recruit and manage diverse volunteer groups, cultivate relationships and help volunteers leverage their influence to build healthier lives in communities everywhere.

Emergency Cardiovascular Care, CPR & First Aid

We are the world authority in resuscitation science, research and training, educating millions each year. You’ll turn science into action, help improve the Chain of Survival in every community and healthcare system, and translate our Guidelines into the highest-quality training materials, courses and programs in CPR, first aid and advanced emergency cardiovascular care for healthcare professionals, first responders, employees and the public.

Build the Mission

Science and Research

World-class scientific research is at the core of all that we do, and we have funded Nobel Prize winners and many lifesaving advances. On the Science team, you may be part of the research grants process; scientific publishing and content review, Councils administration, statistics and research services, or meeting planning and execution.

Marketing and Communications

Through our in-house news and communications operations, you can help share our message and resources with millions to educate, challenge and inspire, by developing advertising and marketing strategies and campaigns, crafting communications plans, pitching media, or creating design, copy, digital or multimedia content.

Advocacy and Health Strategies

Building a culture of health means changing systems and environments – and your voice matters. You’ll help bring together local, state and national influencers to make change happen, by monitoring legislative issues, creating strategy, producing reports and background papers, meeting with influencers, mobilizing grassroots advocates and attending congressional and regulatory meetings.

Finance and Accounting

In Finance and Accounting, you’ll help safeguard the use of donor dollars and fulfill our commitment to maintaining the highest financial standards and upholding the public’s trust, through reconciliations, audits, asset management, accounting to general ledger, A/P and A/R, budgeting or forecasting.

Human Resources

Supporting employees so they can focus on the mission, our HR team works in employee relations, talent acquisition and management, learning and development, compensation, benefits and other areas.


On our Legal team, you’ll work in risk evaluation and management, contract negotiation and drafting, dispute resolution, intellectual property law or research to support management goals and strategies.

Operations and Administration

In this area, you may assist with procurement, facilities logistics or administrative functions to help our organization run smoothly and assist employees in reaching goals.

Business Technology

As a Business Technology member, you may handle a variety of IT functions, such as networking, security, infrastructure, data management, applications and other areas key to our employees’ day-to-day work and the successful operation of our locations across the country.
